In need of renovation great location great view

Really delicious Kaiserschmarrn and the hot chocolate was also amazing!

Beautiful Only Kaiserschmarrn was a disappointment

Everything was just right here. The staff was super warm, friendly and absolutely accommodating. The food was delicious and the value for money really amazing for this area. 8 € for a really large bratwurst with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. In addition, the wonderful view over the Alps and the Chiemsee. Absolute recommendation. By the way, everything is self-service here. If the meal takes a little longer, it will be brought to your table. I would be happy if the other people and visitors to the restaurant were able to either bring their dishes and rubbish back in or at least bring them in front of the entrance. Unfortunately, during our stay we almost always had to find out that people simply leave their tablets and plates, etc. Does that have to be real? Do you break a prong from the crown to clear your dishes? If there is still a little rubbish on the tray and there is a wind, we immediately have a "wonderful" pollution from this great piece of earth!

Magnificent views over the Alps and the Chiemsee and the Alpine foothills

The view is gigantic. The condition of the Hochfellnhaus is just unfortunate. Going to the toilets is a timestep 50 years ago.

Very in need of renovation, especially the sanitary facilities. Something like that is absolutely unsustainable in the current situation (pandemic etc.). But the view with a cool drink makes up for a lot ...

The view is mega cool, but the ambience is pretty bad. We only drank something, already the smell of the outdated toilet. Since we all passed, unfortunately. But as I said, the view is mega.

Eat and drink delicious ... and a gigantic view

Restaurant at the top of the mountain. Smaller selection of dishes (such as soups, sausages, Kaiserschmarrn) and drinks. Very large selection of teas. If the preparation of the food takes a little longer, it will be brought to the place, otherwise everything is self pick-up (outdoor area). Great view! Prices ok. You can't expect upscale gastronomy up here; but the staff is very friendly.

Beautiful and extensive view over the Chiemsee and towards Austria. The Kaiserschmarren is very tasty, prices a bit higher but completely okay for the logistical effort.

Price high, because monopoly. View, however, great! Quality is better than the average. All super friendly!

Food is delicious and plentiful. Value for money is OK. The view is just fantastic. I can recommend the Hochfellnhaus.

Berggasthaus in bad condition were here 1 year ago it has not changed, the front area to sit is still ok but towards toilets the hallways are with drinks boxes and kitchen accessories, the toilets are useless it stinks to the sky and is full of mold on walls and ceilings, the sink everything just disgusting this is all next to the kitchen and the stored ingredients, was already on many simple mountain houses that is also different 👎, the best is the great view.

Just beautiful. Before the very summit you need to go through two ascents. And from the height there is a view of the beautiful lake. There is an ancient church and a cafe there. We were at the end of April and we managed to go down the snow-covered slides. The hill was certainly not there, but the children were rolling down the snow on the bags and it was fun. One star cleaned in for the price. For an adult, 22 euros. From a child, 9.5 euros. A family card costs 54 (2 adults and 2 children)

Always an experience on the Hochfelln to climb, preferably from Ruhpolding. At the top of the Hochfellnhaus it tastes very special, in addition to a half wheat beer and the luck is perfect!

Wonderful view over Chiemsee and mountains. The Hochfellen House has had its prime.

Beautiful alpine hut with a fantastic view of the Chiemgau. After a hike to the summit cross, a pleasant stop for a drink, all self-service and reasonable prices. Small selection of snacks.

Nice food, most incredible views

On the way to Germany from the south? I suggest you take this route instead of one of the tunnels. Amazing views and great food in the restaurant.

Nice people , good food , fresh beer, awsome landscape view. A nice way to spend a weekend day.
